Our Association is officially recognized by the City of Fort Lauderdale as the representative of Coral Ridge. The Board of Governors, consisting of 17 elected members, works tirelessly to protect property values, advocate for community needs, organize events, and maintain the safety and beauty of our neighborhood. Your support ensures that we can continue these efforts and achieve even more in the coming years.

The Coral Ridge Association advocates for our neighborhood by:

• Being an active member of the Council of Fort Lauderdale Civic Associations
• Representing neighborhood interests with the District 1 City Commissioner and Mayor
• Providing a forum for political candidates
• Acting as a liaison with City Code Enforcement
• Lobbying for improvement funds available through Federal, State, County & City programs
• Representing Coral Ridge with the City Parks and Recreation Department
• Working with the City Transportation & Mobility Department

We continuously work to improve our community’s appearance through:

• Maintaining and beautifying entry points into Coral Ridge
• Keeping monuments and landscaping in excellent condition
• Organizing Volunteer Days for beautification projects
• Raising funds and applying for Neighborhood Improvement Grants
• Planning road, pedestrian, and bike lane improvements

Our neighborhood thrives through strong connections among residents:

• Building a robust membership base
• Publishing the Coral Ridge Newsletter five times a year
• Maintaining an up-to-date website and social media presence
• Organizing annual community events like the Easter Egg Hunt and Holiday Party
• Hosting Volunteer Days to enhance community engagement

Safety is a top priority. The Coral Ridge Association collaborates with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department by:

• Organizing and administering an optional Private Off-Duty Police Patrol
• Providing monthly police reports and crime statistics
• Sharing crime prevention tips and action plans
• Enhancing traffic safety with police presence and electronic speed signs
• Working with the Transportation & Mobility Department to improve safety and traffic flow

To preserve the integrity of our neighborhood, the Association:

• Reviews development projects before City Design Review Committee meetings
• Advocates for Coral Ridge interests regarding development proposals
• Establishes guidelines to minimize noise and traffic disruptions from major construction projects

• Sending direct updates to members via email
• Maintaining a current website and social media presence
• Publishing newsletters five times per year
• Hosting two General Membership Meetings annually
