General Meeting Agenda – Coral Ridge Master Plan

Thursday, April 26 is our Association General Membership meeting. Join us at the George English Park Community Center at 7 p.m. The agenda includes a presentation of the Coral Ridge Master Plan and discussion of proposed improvements (see photos and discussion below), a presentation by our City Commissioner Bruce Roberts and assistant Robbi Uptegrove, and a presentation on our new website. The complete meeting agenda is here.

Coral Ridge Master Plan

Brian Leary will present the Coral Ridge Master Plan commissioned by the Association in 2003. While some of the master plan is complete (speed humps on 26th Street and the Sunrise Boulevard Entranceway on Bayview), we will discuss moving forward with the next project. Come join us at Thursday's meeting to discuss these exciting proposals. If you cannot make it to the meeting, be sure to have your voice heard in the comments section below. Click on the thumbnail photos below for a larger view of each photo.

Proposal B:

A proposed canal end treatment / pocket park at one of the canal ends on Bayview between 14th Street and 18th Street.

Proposal D:

A proposed treatment to reduce the wide open intersection (remove pavement and landscape at this conflict area) at Bayview and 13th Street.

Proposal F:

A proposed treatment to Bayview just south of N.E. 12th Street to reduce the wide open street to control traffic by removing pavement and adding landscaping.

We look forward to reading your comments below and seeing you Thursday night.
