The Galleria Development Presentation, Monday, September 8

Galleria_LLC_EviteOn Monday, September 8, 2014, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, representatives from The Galleria and its design team will present a proposed community development at The Galleria.  The proposal is expected to include seven new buildings, including condominiums, a hotel, upscale senior living, new shopping, street level retail, and an updating and rehabilitation of the surrounding area and all side streets to include bike lanes and walking areas. The total expected units (condominium, hotel, and senior living combined) are currently projected to be between 1500 and 1600 units.  The presentation will include the current vision of the project and answer questions.  More importantly, this meeting is an opportunity for residents of the surrounding neighborhoods (Coral Ridge included) to see first hand what is being proposed, and to offer input and suggestions.   Apparently, changes to the project have already occurred in response to community suggestions.  The meeting will be held at The Galleria, 2414 East Sunrise Boulevard, at the west end of the property near Banana Republic.  This is an excellent opportunity to hear first hand wast is being proposed, express support or concerns, and make suggestions that could be incorporated into the project.  For more information, call 954-564-1036.
